Lawn Mower Services FAQ
Do you offer oil changes?
Yes. Oil changes are included in the Spring Start-Up package and are also available as a standalone service.
Do you offer pick-up and delivery service?
We do not offer a pick-up/drop-off service at this time.
Do you work on commercial lawn equipment?
Yes! We work on all types of lawn mowers, including commercial equipment.
How often should I have my lawn mower serviced?
It really depends on how much you use your lawnmower. Most manufacturers recommend servicing your mower at least once a year. A spring tune-up and winterization are excellent ways to extend the life of your equipment and keep it running reliably. If you are mowing a very large lawn or multiple lawns, we also recommend scheduling a summer appointment to clean out build-up and sharpen the blade.
What happens if my mower needs repairs?
During your service, Mark will inspect your mower for worn or damaged components. If additional repairs are needed, you'll be informed before any extra work is completed.
What other small engine equipment do you work on?
In addition to lawn mowers, Mark may service snow blowers, tillers, generators, pressure washers, and other small-engine equipment. Contact us to ask about your specific machine.
What types of lawn mowers do you service?
Albrecht Small Engine Solutions services riding lawn tractors and zero-turn mowers. Service is also available for many other small engine machines.
When should I sharpen my mower blade?
Most homeowners benefit from sharpening their blade at least once per season. If you mow frequently or regularly hit sticks, rocks, or sandy soil, sharpening more often will produce a cleaner cut and a healthier lawn.
Why is preventative maintenance important?
Routine maintenance helps prevent expensive repairs, improves fuel efficiency, extends engine life, and reduces the chance of your mower breaking down when you need it most.
Why should I winterize my lawn mower?
Winterization helps protect the fuel system, battery, engine, and cutting deck during storage. Proper winter storage makes spring start-up easier and helps prevent costly repairs.
